About Andrew Horsman

Andrew Horsman is the Executive Director of Ontario Tire Stewardship and leads the organization in delivering the diversion and market-development activities of OTS. Andrew has a long history working with Stewardship issues in the North American context, formerly the Regulatory Compliance Manager with Wal-Mart Canada, Andrew held positions as:

• Chair of the Retail Council of Canada environment Committee
• Secretary-Treasurer of Ontario Tire Stewardship
• Chair of the Ontario Used Oil Management Association
• Retail representative of Product care Association.

At Wal-Mart Andrew was responsible for the Regulatory, Stewardship and Sustainability files, working closely with a range of industries and fellow retailers to enhance the compliance and sustainability of the organization. Prior to joining OTS as ED Andrew was the Vice-President of Corporate Sustainability with the Delphi Group, and Ottawa-based consulting firm. Originally from Montreal, Andrew (while happily living in Mississauga) remains a passable level of French and a deep affection for the Montreal Canadians.
